"In this episode, Tyler Andrews, professional runner for Hoka One One and Co- Director of Strive Trips, shares his story of transitioning from an 18:30 5k runner in high school to a 2:15 Marathoner and World Championship Silver Medalist. Tyler reflects on his time training in Ecuador, his 2020 Olympic Marathon Trials Race, and his trip to Mt. Everest to run a Fastest Known Time. He also discuses his work as the co-director of Strive Trips and blending running/training with serving and teaching others in Peru. Lastly, Tyler encourages runners to stick with the sport and find their niche even if they aren't the fastest runner on their team or in their community.
